Each year we work with some of the industry's leading names in architecture, design and journalism, whose expertise we call on to examine and consider the entries. They offer their time and expertise to judge and reward design excellence.
Each submission to the Grand Designs Awards is judged anonymously and on its own merits according to a set of criteria against which submissions are scored numerically. Scores are collated to decide the winners and finalists. The judges' decision is final. Winners will not be announced until the awards event on the 6 May 2010.
