Rules & Conditions of Entry
Houses and products must have been built or launched since February 2008.
Entry fee £79 + VAT = £92.83. All submissions must be made online at www.granddesignsawards.com prior to the published deadline date and will require payment in full by credit card.
You may enter as many houses/products as you like. If you wish to enter the same house or product into a number of categories, you can do so during the same entry process, but you will be required to pay an entry fee per category entered.
Entries must be received by Midnight on Sunday 21 February 2010. The judges reserve the right to reject an entry if in their opinion it fails to comply with the rules and conditions of entry.
All applicants must fulfil the criteria for the category they are entering and may be asked to produce evidence to support the claims made in their application. The judges reserve the right to re-categorise entries and merge or delete categories according to the number and nature of entries.
Judges will consider each house or product on its own merit. Entries are judged using a cumulative numeric system and are scored against a specific set of criteria. The Judges decision is final.
Refunds cannot be made for incorrect entries or if an entry is withdrawn by the judges once submitted.
By entering the awards, you consent to all imagery you supply being used for marketing and promotion purposes by Grand Designs Awards/Media 10.
Winners of a Grand Designs Award will not be notified in advance of the official announcement made on 6 May 2010.
The organisers (Media 10) accept no responsibility for the loss or damage to any samples supplied with entries and cannot guarantee or cover any costs associated with the return of samples.
